A system and method for providing an integrated platform by way of which a user may be provided with pertinent reviews relating to an entity comprising of receiving a search query pertaining to the entity, data fetching to periodically retrieve information pertaining to the entity from various on-line sources, data transformation to convert the retrieved information from the various on-line sources to a homogeneous format retaining the threaded format of the information, data enrichment to . aggregate the threads of homogeneous data for further processing to generate review and ranking, grammar processing to analyze the aggregated data to determine key identifiers associated with the product from each thread thereof, semantic processing to determine. a weighted rating for each of the identifiers based on polarity and magnitude of the characterization .rating generation to generate adjusted rating. representing the review. and ranking in terms of quality, usability, performance, pricing, satisfaction, servjceability pre. and post sales experience, overall experience or as appropriate for the entity.
