The present invention provides a quadrotor unmanned air vehicle comprising a four rotor hub assembly wherein each rotor hub assembly comprises plurality of rotor blades operably mounted on at least one variable pitch mechanism to vary a pitch angle of said rotor blades so to obtain a change in the thrust of said rotor hub assembly. The quadrotor further comprises at least one fuel engine centrally mounted on a central body/fuselage and actuated to power each of said four rotor hub assembly by means of a transmission system. The device offers large flight time and payload lifting capability due to use of fuel engine. The flight control is achieved by independently altering the pitch angle of the rotor blades through a pitch change mechanism actuated by a servo which in turn regulates the thrust and torque of each rotor. An autopilot system is an integral part of the said quadrotor and is used for stability, control and navigation of the said unmanned aerial vehicle and regulates the RPM of the rotors, each of which operate at the same constant RPM which is fraction of the engine RPM.
