A lighter than air platform for solar power generation is disclosed. The lighter than air platform for solar power generation comprises at least two lighter than air platform (LTAP). Further a solar power generation module capable of generating solar power mounted on a horizontal platform, wherein the horizontal platform mounted on the at least two LTAP, such that the horizontal platform provides a bridge between the at least two LTAP. Further at least two positioning module mounted on the at least two LTAP, wherein the at least two positioning module are configured to maintain elevation, and geographical coordinates. Further a power module connected with the solar power generation module and capable of transferring and storing the power generated by the solar power generation module.
