PASSWORD VERIFICATION DEVICE AND PASSWORD VERIFICATION METHOD

A password verification device which is realized using a password verification method. The method comprises: first hashing and displaying a plurality of known characters in a plurality of interaction regions; then accepting a sequential selection made by a user on the plurality of interaction regions; and after the user has completed the selection of the current several interaction regions once re hashing and distributing the plurality of known characters to various interaction regions for displaying so as to be used on the next selection; and comparing characters contained in a password sequence with characters contained in the interaction regions selected each time according to bits and when it is confirmed according to the bits that all the characters in the password sequence are characters displayed in the interaction region selected each time corresponding thereto outputting a signal characterizing successful password verification. By dimming the content input by a user the input content is polysemic the password during a user verification process is ensured to be difficult to leak and the password operation complexity is enhanced by making the user operation content produce a dynamic change effect thereby improving the security and easiness of the authentication process.
