The present invention provides a process for the fabrication of high strength nano bioactive glass (NBG) as therapeutic agents for bone reconstructive surgeries. More particularly, the present invention provides a process for the fabrication of high strength nanobioactive glass having the composition as SiO2: CaO: P2O5 in the molar ratio of 76:21:3.
