The invention relates to a textile machine (1) with a plurality of workstations (4), to which a suction channel (10) with at least one suction channel opening (12) is assigned respectively. The suction channel opening (12) is arranged in the region of the workstation (4) for suctioning fibre-containing air, wherein the suction channel (10) can be charged with negative pressure for suctioning air. The suctioned air can be directed via a filter element (8) for filtering the suctioned air to an air outlet channel (14) for channelling out the filtered air. The air outlet channel (14) can be charged with overpressure for channelling the filtered air out through at least one air outlet channel opening (14). The textile machine (1) is characterised in that the at least one air outlet channel opening (16) leads into an encapsulated cavity of a functional unit assigned to an individual workstation (4) or a plurality of workstations (4).
