AUTOMATED GENDER SEPARATION SYSTEM FOR SEPARATING A GENDER OF COCOONS

An automated gender separation system for separating a gender of one or more cocoons is provided. The automated gender separation system includes a vertical conveyor, a physical and shape feature extractor, a processing device, and a direction controlled blower. The vertical conveyor receives one or more cocoons from the grainage centers and sends the one or more cocoons to the physical and shape feature extractor. An image and weight of the one or more cocoons are obtained in the physical and shape feature extractor. A processor receives the signal from the physical and shape feature extractor and processes the signal. A microcontroller receives the processed signal from the processor and controls the direction controlled blower based on the received signal. The direction controlled blower forces air to the one or more cocoons to separate the gender of the one or more cocoons.
