The present invention is a two-wheeled fuel cell vehicle (1) assembly layout comprising, a frame (9) including a pair of rear frames (9R), said pair of rear frames (9R) disposed substantially in a rear portion of said vehicle (1), a seat (10) supported by said pair of rear frames (9R), and an electric motor (4) functionally connected to at least one wheel (4) of said vehicle (1). A fuel cell power box (8) is mounted under the seat (10) of the vehicle (1). The fuel cell power box (8) houses at least one metal hydride canister (5R and 5L) in a first layer, and a fuel cell stack (3) in a second layer. The fuel cell power box (8) is at least partially disposed between the pair of frames (9R).
