A HERBAL BASED REPELLENT FOR TERMITES ON WOODY TREES

The present invention relates to herbal based repellent formulation for termites on woody trees preventing them from making mud galleries on the trunk. The herbal based termite repellent formulation consisting of: karanje oil; citriodera oil; geranium oil; powdered camphor; hemi hydrated calcium sulfate (POP); and neutral pH sodium salts of fatty acid (SFA). The neutral pH sodium salts of fatty acid (SFA) acts as a spreading agent. The formulation is in solid powder form, said formulation is free from toxic insecticides and hence eco-friendly.
