Disclosed is an inline optical filter using Bragg fiber waveguide structure having a cavity of Poly-methyl methacrylate (PMMA) surrounded with single crystal PMN-PT. The transmission spectra of filter are obtained with the help of Henkel formalism in cylindrical coordinate system by using transfer matrix method. The considered waveguide structure is able to provide the photonic band gap along with a pass band in the obtained photonic band gap region. The cavity of proposed structure is controlled by applying an external DC voltage on the PMN-PT crystal. The applied DC voltage able to provide the pass band shift 6.45nm/Volt,
