Present invention describes a process for recycling filter backwash solids and preparing a calcined clay based Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) confirming to Indian standard specification for use as a construction material. Portland Pozzolana Cement in the present invention contains calcined filter backwash solids ranging from 10 to 20 % by weight that is intimately and uniformly blended with Portland cement. 8 --T-
