The present inventions provide Drug Delivery Composition of Ocular Insert Using Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and Polyethylene Oxide (PEO) for Anti-Glaucoma Drugs with a view to improve its therapeutic efficacy by producing sustained action of the drug and reducing its side effects. The blend of PEO in PMMA matrix was found to be homogenous in nature. It was found that drugs permeation was decreased with increasing polymer concentration. It was also concluded that presence of PEO in films favors the drugs release and so permeation whereas PMMA retards drugs release. Isopropyl Alcohol use in formulation of ocular insert was play a major role in improving its corneal penetration and hence increase it therapeutic effectiveness of the drugs.
