Equilibrium relationships or adsorption isotherms describe how adsorbents interact with the adsorbents. That is why they are critical for optimizing the adsorption mechanism pathways, expression of the surface properties and capacities of adsorbents and effective design of the adsorption systems. During 20th century, various equilibrium isotherm models have been presented by various scientists and it is accepted that none of these models are perfect and some flaws can be observed in each of them. In this regard a new adsorption isotherm known as Agarwal-Zodape adsorption isotherm has been developed. To validate this newly developed adsorption isotherm model, experiments were designed about the adsorption of various systems. After careful examination of the results; it reveals that our newly developed adsorption isotherm model has been verified and can be used for different adsorption studies.
