AUTOMATIC CLEANING OF SOLAR PV MODULES USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE Solar modules are soiling in their operating life causing losses in electric power production ■ and decrease in system efficiency. Without proper cleaning, solar plant performance and the owners profit can drop up to 15-17%. In this, the surfaces of the PV modules are image processed in a periodic interval and the images are given as input to the ROBO which compares the previous and current image and decides automatically. It scans the surface for quantum of dust accumulation periodically using artificial intelligence. Depends on the quantum of dust, it gives command to wipe out. Again, it scans and stops if the surface is cleaned. Because of this automatic cleaning method, probability of getting optimal inference surely increases and the efficiency of solar systems also increases.
