The present invention relates to a process for fabricating a Lead-Lanthanum-Zirconium-Titanate ceramic of formula [Pt1.x Lax Zro.6 Ti 0.4 O3], where x=0.08 (8/60/40), said process comprising: milling a mixture of oxides of lead, lanthanum, zirconium, and titanium to obtain a slurry; drying said slurry followed by high energy milling to obtain powder; cold pressing of said powder into a compact of desired shape; and sintering of said compact followed by annealing to obtain the PLZT ceramic.[IN-DEL-2010-00941A]
