BALL CENTERS FOR PROFESSIONAL SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL, PRODUCT AND PROCESS.

The present invention refers to a product and a process for obtaining ball centers for softball, baseball and/or souvenirs amongst others. The product obtained by this invention refers to the ball centers. The ball centers are ready to be wrapped with long threads of natural and/or synthetic fibers and coated with a leather, rubber or the like shell for obtaining the balls of softball, baseball and/or souvenirs amongst others. The materials used for obtaining the ball centers are the following: rubber, thermoplastic elastomers and lumps of scrap tires, amongst others. The centers are obtained in a single piece previous a physical mixing process in batch at room temperature. The mixed material is subjected to a process of transformation by injection for obtaining the ball centers. The softball and/or baseball balls that contain these centers and which are fully finished, comply with the specifications of weight, size, sound and restitution coefficient established by the ASTM-F1887-09 m ethod. In addition, the centers present shape memory with low humidity absorption.
