The present disclosure is related to an electric conductivity meter to determine the concentration of salt in the water which is diluted in coastal water with user-programmable metering intervals. The innovation of this device is that: 1) is programmed directly on the installation site or through the internet, 2) allows to measure in real time the advance of the salt intrusion in coastal water, 3) the quantification of saline intrusion can be monitored from a computer, tablet or smartphone connected to the Internet and, 4) a system that includes the measurement of ground temperature to compensate errors due to temperature without the need to remove the sensors from the installation site.
