The present invention relates to a tribological machine for measuring wear in materials used for hip prothesis. Said machine possesses a main frame used to house the elements constituting it a drive module responsible for providing the necessary torque to operate the further modules of the tribological machine, a knee simulator module responsible for simulating the movement and force of a human knee on a hip prosthesis test subject to study; a hip simulator module responsible for simulating the movement and force of a human hip on a hip prothesis test subject to study, a hip acetabular cup simulator module responsible for simulating the movement and force of a human acetabulum on a hip prosthesis test subject to study and a dynamic loading module used to vary the load and dynamic force applied the hip prosthesis subject to study. The hip prosthesis test is immersed within a container with a test fluid, which reproduces the physiological conditions of the human body.
