The present invention provides a mobile robot including an upper platform and a lower platform, a camera for capturing images of the environment, a computer for processing said images and making decision with regard to the movement of the robot, a system for controlling the movements of the robot, a movement system including two independent driving wheels and two free-motion wheels, and an integrated circuit system.
