Device intended as an extension for a flower pot (1), comprising an extension (2) and a coupling piece (3). The coupling piece cooperates with connecting pins (6) which cooperate with openings (5) arranged in the bottom of the flower pot and with openings (7) in the coupling piece. The connecting pins are preferably designed to be clickable, for example by means of a shaft (8) of resilient material, longitudinally provided with a slot 9 and with a protrusion (10) on the outside. Thus, the invention provides an extension in the use of pot plants, namely by providing means whereby potted plants can form part of conventional bouquets with cut flowers etc.
