The adsorbent material proposed in the present Invention AIMS the removal of arsenic, cadmium and Mercury in Waters polluted with these chemicals into water suitable for human consumption, this problem occurs in different regions of Peru.The adsorbent material is described base obtained Chitosan which is property form hydrogels using acidic and Basic media, and join Iron Atoms due to the presence of amino and hydroxyl groups.These properties are enhanced when the iron is reduced to elemental form and adds a second layer of granular material, thus creating a New Chitosan adsorbent that can be used for the removal of arsenic, cadmium and Mercury
