The notification concerns N-guanyl derivatives of 9-amino-5,11-dimethyl-5H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoline of the model (I),i n which n is the total number 0 or 1, and R is the lateral acyl chain? -amino acid, which is glycine or L-proline and their pharmacologically permissible salts. N-Guanyl derivatives of 9-amino-5,11-dimethyl-5H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoline-9-yl-amine are characterised by high cytotoxic activity and selectivity of action. Due to their physicochemical and pharmacological properties, they may be active ingredients in the treatment or prevention of various types of cancer. The report also revealed how N-guanyl derivatives of 9-amino-5,11-dimethyl-5H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoline are obtained.
