The invention relates to a biomaterial to be used as a scaffold for cell cultures and tissue engineering with biomedical applications. According to the invention, the biomaterial is prepared by mixing 100 parts of collagen I or III solution prepared by a usual enzymatic treatment from bovine tendons and skin, having a concentration of 0.5...1%, an average molecular mass of 400000...500000, pH of 5.5...7.5, with 10 parts of platelet extract derived from expired platelet units, while completely homogenizing them for 2 h, and depositing the resulting biomaterial membranes on plane surfaces, to dry for 48 h, at a temperature of 37°C.
