The polypropylene fiber with nanodditives having improved compatibility and affinity for silicate cement matrix composites

Described is a fiber with improved compatibility and affinity for a silicate matrix of cement composites consisting of isotactic polypropylene in an amount of from 96.0% to 99.0% by weight and an inorganic nanosilicate in an amount of from 1.0% to 4.0% by weight. The cross-section of the fiber has the shape of a circle or a five-pointed star.
