DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, SERVICE PROVISION SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR EXPANDING FUNCTIONALITY THEREOF

A data management system (110) for which a first AP server (114), a first database (DB) server (116), and a second DB server (118) are arranged in a first data center (112), and a second AP server (122), a third DB server (124), and a fourth DB server (126) are arranged in a second data center (120). All of the DB servers are equipped with shared tables, and restrictions which prevent the deletion or updating of records in each table are imposed. Each AP server is connected to all of the DB servers. Each AP server is equipped with a work processing unit (130), an artificial key management unit (132), a data control unit (134), and multiple DB connection units (138). The work processing unit (130) generates work data for which an ID comprising an artificial key issued from the artificial key management unit (132) is a primary key, and then transmits the work data to each DB server via the data control unit (134) and each DB connection unit (138). The work processing unit (130) does not allow this work data to be referenced until a reception completion notification is received from all of the DB servers.
