The invention relates to a domestic device (1) and especially an accessory of a dust remover (2). The domestic device (1) includes a housing (3) and an engine (4) mounted in the housing. The engine is provided with an engine shaft (5) and an engine housing parallel to the extension direction (X) of the engine shaft (5) and extending from the first end to the second end. The engine shaft (5) is mounted in the engine housing. In order to reduce noise of the domestic device (1) in operation, a sleeve (7) is arranged between the outer side of the engine housing (6) and the inner side of the housing (3). Through the sleeve, the whole engine housing (6) is fixed in the housing (3) in an anti-torsion manner. The sleeve (7) is made of elastic material at least in a segmented manner. The material has smaller elastic modulus smaller than that of the housing (3) and/or the engine housing (6). The invention also relates to a domestic device, especially a dust remover (2), which includes the domestic device (1) as the accessory.
