A lighting device (1) for footwear, characterized in that it comprises: - a flexible strip (2) of conductive material comprising a plurality of LEDs (3) lights distributed along said strip; - a cord (4) of textile material including therein said strip; - a power module (5) attachable to said cord; - drive means (6) in said power module configured to activate and deactivate sequentially different operation modes of the LED lights.
