The invention relates to a door including a device for changing the door handing, to a method for installing a door including said device and to a method for changing the handing of a door including said device, the door comprising: a casing (2) having a projecting longitudinal channel (2a) such that the bottom thereof is parallel to faces (3a) and (3b) of a partition (3). The device (1a, 1b, 1c) has a rectangular cross-section and the edge thereof is the same size as the channel (2a), the devise comprising, like the casing (2), two jambs and a header having a narrow face that is inserted into the channel (2a). A jamb (1a) of the device comprises hinge plates (4g), one for each hinge (4), which are each screwed to the jamb (1a) with a single short lag screw, corresponding to the centre of each plate, while the other plates (4h) of each hinge are each screwed to a leaf using three long lag screws. The strike (5a) of the door handle (5) is joined to the other jamb (1b) of the device, centred halfway up the leaf (7) and screwed with two short lag screws. The door handle (5), bolt (5b) and spindle (5c) are installed halfway up the leaf (7).
