A reagent kit for the detection of lupus anticoagulant comprising: a first coagulation time measurement reagent containing at least one phospholipid selected from the group consisting of phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine; and a second coagulation time measurement reagent containing at least one phospholipid selected from the group consisting of phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylserine; where at least one of the first coagulation time measurement reagent and the second coagulation time measurement reagent contains alkali metal salt and the second coagulation time measurement reagent contains alkali metal salt at a concentration lower than that of the first coagulation time measurement reagent or does not contain alkali metal sa and where the first coagulation time measurement reagent contains phospholipid and the second coagulation time measurement reagent contains phospholipid at a concentration lower than that of the first coagulation time measurement reagent.
