System, method and device to enable efficient hybrid route optimization between two mobile endpoints

A home agent (106) to allow hybrid route optimization between two mobile endpoints (102, 104) comprising a mobile node (102) and a correspondent node (104), wherein the hybrid route optimization allows the two points end mobile redirect their data traffic to an optimal path without exchanging any signaling message mobility, where the mobile node is associated with the home agent and the corresponding node is associated with its own target agent that is different from own agent wherein the mobile node is able to move around and join one plurality of access routers (110, 112, 114), the home agent comprising: a processor (138); and a memory (140) which stores processor-executable instructions where the processor (138) interfaced with the memory (140) and executes the processor-executable instructions to: receive (202) a first message (302) from the mobile node, wherein the first message comprises an Internet Protocol address of the corresponding node; using (204) the Internet Protocol address to identify the destination agent itself; send (204) a second message (402) to the home agent destination, wherein the second message subscribes to the home agent the home agent destination for notification service presence in the own target agent must update the agent own about a direction by the corresponding node whenever the corresponding node sends the address by the target agent itself; receiving (210) a third message (604) from the home agent destination, wherein the third message identifies the address by the corresponding node; and send a fourth message to the mobile node, wherein the fourth message comprises the address of the corresponding node by allowing redirection of data traffic between the mobile node and the corresponding node.
