A process for the synthesis of poly (1,3-alkadienes) anionically functionalized comprising polymerizing at least one monomer a 1,3-alkadiene in the presence of organic lithium and a non-polar low boiling solvent and effecting the termination phase polymer chain based on 1, 3-alkadiene, the end of the polymerization, by adding, to the polymerization mixture of an alkane bromine, wherein the alkane contains 1 to 12 carbon atoms, followed by addition of a product containing a stable nitroxy radical, characterized by the -NO * group in said soluble nonpolar solvent.
