A cyclone separator (4) comprising: a first cyclonic stage (11) comprising a cyclone chamber (25) and a first chamber (26) dust collecting located below the cyclone chamber (25); a second cyclonic stage (12) located downstream of the first cyclonic stage (11) and comprising a second chamber (37) collecting dust; and a conduit (13) inlet for conveying fluid from an opening (5) in the base (19) of the cyclone separator (4) to the cyclonic chamber (25), wherein the first chamber (26) dust collection at least partially surrounds the conduit (13) inlet and the second chamber (37) for collecting dust.
