An insert milling tangential ramp (14) on one face for milling at high speed, comprising seating surfaces and opposite upper (20, 22) of the insert, and a peripheral surface (24) extending therebetween, the insert having milling (14) a reference plane (P) passing through the entire peripheral surface (24) at half distance between the seating surfaces and upper (20, 22), the peripheral surface (24) comprising two opposite side surfaces (26) having a first axis (X) passing midway between them and is held in the reference plane (P), each side surface (26): a first cutting edge (40 ) formed at an intersection of the side surface (26) with the top surface (22) of the insert, a second cutting edge (42) connected to the first cutting edge (40) and extending transversely therefrom, an edge cutting ramp (44) connected to the second edge (42) and located opposite the first cutting edge (40) and a rake surface (38) extending from at least a portion of the first cutting edge (40) towards the seat surface (20) of the insert, wherein insert milling (14) comprises two surfaces enhanced ramp (60), each of which extends from the cutting edge ramp (44) of a side surface (26) toward the first cutting edge (40) the opposite side surface (26).
