An anti-CTLA-4 and 9- [4,6-O- (R) -ethylidene-β-D-glucopyranoside] antibody of 4'-demethylepipodophyllotoxin, 4 '- (dihydrogen phosphate) or a salt, a solvate or a Pharmaceutically acceptable hydrate thereof, for use in a method for cancer treatment, which comprises administering to a mammal in need thereof a synergistically and therapeutically effective amount of an anti-CTLA-4 antibody with 9- [4,6- O- (R) -ethylidene-β-D-glucopyranoside] of 4'-demethylepipodophyllotoxin, 4 '- (dihydrogen phosphate) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or hydrate thereof.
