Process of developing a geological model, made in computer, from seismic data collected previously, comprising the steps of: - sampling of said seismic data (1) according to at least one set of seismic traces (3, 4) consist each by sampling points (5) taken as increasing depths, - analysis of the similarities between the seismic data (6) around said sampling points (5) belonging to different simian traces (3, 4), - determining links (7) between the sampling points (5) belonging to different traces from said analysis of the similarities, joining said links the points are located on a geological surface, said determination comprising a step of calculating image correlation (2): - each image corresponding correlation to a pair of tracks (3, 4), - each trace being represented as a dimension of the image correl ation (2), and - representing the value of each point of the image (2) the local correlation of seismic data (6) in the vicinity of two points (5) respective of each track (3, 4), characterized in that comprising a step of: - establishment of said geological model giving each sampling point (5) a geological relative age calculated at least from: (i) the geological age relative to other sample points connected to said point sampling (5) for links (7), and (ii) the geological age relative to other points next to the trace (4) including said sampling point (5) sampling, the allocation of a geological age on the sampling points (5) is an iterative process always executed remaining sampling points undated (5) comprising at least one link (7), comprising the steps of: - selecting a sampling point not dated (5) comprising at least one link (7), - attribution of age on this pun to (5) given points and dated its layout (4), such that the age along a trace always vary in the same direction, and - allocation of the same age on all points attached to this point links (7) and further comprising a step of filling the geological model for propagation of a minisuperficie similarity in the vicinity of each sampling point (5) comprising a link (7), by seed that point (5).
