The invention relates to an aqueous, chromium-free and curable corrosionprotection agent for the first coating of metal surfaces, said agentcontaining atleast one organic polymer or copolymer of at least partially acylated vinylamines,for improving the properties of adhesion of the cured first coating to themetallicsurface and to further organic coatings. The invention also relates to amethod forproducing a first coating comprising the agent according to the invention, andforapplying further organic coatings, in particular those based on polyurethaneresinsand/or based on isocyanates and diols or polyols, and to a metal stripproduced inthis way or a metal sheet cut off same, which can optionally be shaped.
