The present invention aims to provide a wireless communicationrelay apparatus (10) capable of avoiding abandonment of an incoming calleven when a connection authentication between the wirelesscommunication relay apparatus (10) and a wireless communicationterminal (20) has not yet been completed when there is an incoming call.The wireless communication relay apparatus (10) according to the presentinvention outputs, when there is an incoming call from a base station (30)(YES in Step S1) and the connection authentication between the wirelesscommunication relay apparatus (10) and the wireless communicationterminal (20) has not yet been completed (NO in Step S2), an instructionto start the connection authentication to the user as an in-apparatusincoming notification state (Step S21) and sends a message or a hold toneindicating that the connection authentication is currently being executedto a caller of the incoming call (Step S26). After that, when theconnection authentication is completed (YES in Step S28), the incomingcall is connected to the wireless communication terminal (20) (Step S3).
