Provided is a network mode switching method, comprising: receiving network information reported by a terminal through a base station; according to the network information reported by the terminal and pre-stored network information, determining the maximum transmission rate corresponding to the position where the terminal is located; and sending network information corresponding to the maximum transmission rate to the terminal through the base station.
