Disclosed are a 3D image capturing apparatus and capturing method, and a 3D image system. The 3D image capturing apparatus comprises an image sensor and a processor, wherein the image sensor is used to synchronously collect R, G and B colour information and infrared light information in a scene space; and the processor is used to process the infrared light information collected by the image processor, so as to obtain depth information corresponding to intensity information about infrared light, thereby obtaining a 3D image by combining the depth information with the R, G and B colour information. By means of the above-mentioned method, the present invention can reduce costs and improve efficiency.
