METHOD FOR EXPANDING BRIDGE DOMAIN OF OVERLAY SDN NETWORK

Disclosed is a method for expanding a bridge domain of a first overlay SDN network to a second overlay SDN network using a relay device. A method for expanding a bridge domain of an overlay SDN network according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a step for registering a relay switch of a relay device as a switch included in a first overlay SDN network and a second overlay SDN network; a step for generating tunnels for connecting the relay switch and switches included in the first overlay SDN network; a step for generating tunnels for connecting the relay switch and switches included in the second overlay SDN network; a step for receiving information on a path for connecting a first SDN control unit of the first overlay SDN network to a virtual machine (VM) belonging to the first SDN network; a step for converting the path information; and a step for transmitting the converted path information to a second SDN control unit.
