The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions obtained or obtainable from Salmonidae hatching fluid, methods of producing said compositions and their use in various cosmetic applications to the skin, particularly forreducing or preventing the cosmetic appearance or prevalence of wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, laxity, dry skin, scaling and/or transepidermal water loss in skin of a mammalian animal.
