BIOLOGICAL COVERING PURIFICATION METHOD FOR PURIFYING HEAVY METAL CONTAMINATED SEDIMENT

The present invention relates to a biological covering purification method for removing heavy metals from contaminants in marine sediments by using a microorganism medium for removing marine heavy metals. The present invention may provide an on-situ purification technology capable of purifying polluted sediments on site by using a microorganism medium for removing marine heavy metals. The method for processing marine polluted sediments of the present invention has no concerns with regard to secondary pollution and can prevent disturbance of the marine ecosystem because the method does not perform a process using a chemical method. The method for processing marine polluted sediments of the present invention is a low-cost, high-efficiency, environmentally friendly method and thus is expected to replace dredging methods.
