RESOURCE SCHEDULING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLOUD COMPUTING SYSTEM

A resource scheduling method and apparatus for a cloud computing system. On the basis of statistical analysis on various performance indicator values of a virtual machine, a behavior pattern of the virtual machine is determined, and a risk weighted value of bearing the virtual machine is further determined; and on the basis of the risk weighted value obtained from calculation, the virtual machine borne on a host is migrated, so as to avoid the problem of decreased QoS of the virtual machine on the host. Meanwhile, because a migration decision process is based on a second risk evaluation value of the host at a current time point, and a first risk evaluation value of the host when bearing the behavior pattern of the virtual machine, that is, bases of the migration process not only comprise the risk at the current time point, but also comprise the first risk evaluation value of a future period of time when the host bears the behavior pattern of the virtual machine at this period of time, so as to prevent the virtual machine on the host from being repeatedly migrated at further time points.
