Disclosed is a base used for a new accelerator therapy device and the new accelerator therapy device, wherein a ship-shaped rocking arm (3) is used to drive a main frame (1) to rotate around the X axis, while an accelerator (2) autorotates around the Z axis along with the main frame (1), so that the accelerator (2) operates on a spherical surface and the accelerator (2) irradiates a lesion located in the isocenter (5) in any direction of the three-dimensional spherical space. The ship-shaped rocking arm (3) has a low center of gravity and bears loads in a curved manner, thereby eleiminating a rotating shaft and a column bearing the weight of the main frame (1) and the accelerator (2) as in the prior art. It has a high stability, is safe and reliable, has low requirements for a transmission equipment, and can easily achieve industrial applications.
