A pharmaceutical composition comprising polygonum capitatum and rhizoma coptis, and an application thereof in preparing medicine for resisting inflammation, particularly resisting ulcer, preventing/treating chronic gastritis and common gastritis caused by helicobacter pylori and diseases related to infection of the helicobacter pylori.
