PREDICTION OF RESPONSE TO IMMUNOTHERAPY BASED ON TUMOR BIOMARKERS

A method of identifying a cancer patient susceptible to immunotherapy of an immunogenic tumor is provided, the method comprising (i) obtaining a tumor sample from a cancer patient; and (ii) measuring the level of a biomarker in the tumor sample; wherein said biomarker is selected from miR-222, ADAR1 protein and ICAM1 protein, and a reduced level of miR-222, or an elevated level of ADAR1 protein or ICAM1 protein, compared to a predetermined reference, indicates said cancer patient's susceptibility to said immunotherapy, and thereby identifying a cancer patient susceptible to immunotherapy of an immunogenic tumor.
