A method for pushing information when a temperature is adaptively adjusted comprises: record a highest indoor temperature and a lowest indoor temperature that are preset by a user (S101); detect a current indoor temperature (S102); when the current indoor temperature is between the highest temperature and the lowest temperature, turn off an air conditioner (S103); when the current indoor temperature is higher than the highest temperature, the air conditioner enables a temperature decrease mode, so as to make the indoor temperature reach the lowest temperature and then turn off the temperature decrease mode, and push patent information to the user (S104); and when the current indoor temperature is lower than the lowest temperature, the air conditioner enables a temperature increase mode, so as to make the indoor temperature reach the highest temperature and then turn off the temperature increase mode, and push patent information to the user (S105). In the method, by setting a temperature range for an air conditioner, the air conditioner starts intermittent work after an indoor temperature is higher than a highest temperature and lower than a lowest temperature, thereby reducing power waste and noise pollution, and protecting interests of a technology creator. The present invention further relates to an air conditioner for pushing information when a temperature is adaptively adjusted.
