HYBRID SDN SWITCH UTILIZING DYNAMIC MIGRATION TECHNOLOGY

Disclosed is a hybrid SDN switch utilizing a dynamic migration technology, relating to an SDN switch technology. The hybrid SDN switch mainly comprises switch hardware, a Linux operating system, a switching chip SDK, a traditional switching protocol module and an SDN module, wherein the switch hardware is traditional switch hardware, the traditional switching protocol module and the SDN module form a switch software level, and the SDN module comprises two parts, namely, an OpenFlow module and an SDN controller; a virtual machine is started in the switch, and the SDN controller is operated in the virtual machine; and the SDN controller can be dynamically migrated into a server along with the virtual machine according to requirements. According to the present invention, the resources and the computing capability of a processor in a switch are sufficiently utilized; therefore, the function flexibility of the switch can be greatly improved, and the high availability of an SDN switch can be ensured.
