The invention relates to a process for preparing a composition for the preventive or curative treatment of cultivated plants, comprising the steps consisting in: a) - grinding fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum) seeds so as to obtain a ground mass having a predetermined particle size of less than 100 µm comprising: i) fragments of integument and ii) fragments of germ and of cotyledon, b) - subjecting said ground mass to turbo-separation in order to separate the fragments according to the density thereof, c) - recovering a fraction of said ground mass, termed light fraction, of germ and of cotyledon and of density 1.31 +/- 0.15, d) - introducing said light fraction into an amount of aqueous solution suitable for application to a plant, so as to obtain a liquid composition intended for the treatment of a cultivated plant. The invention also relates to a ground mass and to a granulated product that are intended for the preparation of a composition for the preventive or curative treatment of cultivated plants, to a liquid composition for the preventive or curative treatment of cultivated plants and to the use of such a liquid composition for the treatment of cultivated plants.
