METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING ACCESS OF HBA CARD TO SATA DISK IN SAS STORAGE SYSTEM

A method and device for implementing an access of an HBA card to a SATA disk in a SAS storage system. The method comprises: acquiring an identifier of an HBA card and an identifier of at least one SATA disk in a SAS storage system (S310); accessing a whitelist containing the HBA card identifier and the SATA disk identifier, so as to acquire a whitelist item associated with the HBA card (S320), wherein the whitelist is configured in a way that one SATA disk in the at least one SATA disk can only be accessed by one HBA card at one time; and enabling, according to the acquired whitelist item, the HBA card to access a SATA disk in the whitelist item from the at least one SATA disk (S330). The present invention addresses the SATA disk occupation problem likely to occur when implementing redundancy of an HBA card in a SAS domain.
